Bourbonanza kicks off the celebration in the heart of our historic downtown with a free street fair on a beautiful fall afternoon. Local distilleries, breweries and wineries will be serving libations along with great food, live music and Kentucky and Bourbon-themed demonstrations. Local businesses will host spirit-themed events and activities for the whole family and local museums will feature exhibits telling Frankfort's Bourbon story. Complimentary guided walking tours of historic sites are also offered.

The evening welcomes revelers to the lovely Kentucky History Center and gardens where local distilleries, wineries and breweries will feature tastings of their most popular products. Live music will be performed by Electria, and the Marlin McKay Group and local caterer, 3 Peas in a Pod, will serve hardy hors d'oeuvres along with samples of "Kentucky Proud" products.
The highlight of the event is a live auction of rare Bourbon that attracts collectors from around the country. Participants and spectators alike will enjoy a high energy experience as folks jockey to bid the highest price and "win" the coveted prize.
